Skiing holiday on the Kronplatz

Out of bed and onto the slopes! Just a few minutes by car separate the Jochele from South Tyrol’s number one skiing mountain, the Kronplatz. Without question one of the very best winter sports destinations in the Dolomites. In figures: 119 kilometres of slopes and 32 lifts. Not bad, huh? It makes no difference whether you’re a beginner, a leisure skier or a pro - here skiers and snowboarders will find everything they need to make a success of a day on the slopes. But if you want to experience the entirety of skiing world in the Pustetal Valley, a trip to the ski resorts of Skiworld Ahrntal - Speikboden and Klausberg - is a must. Here things are a bit quieter and more family-friendly - and in the chalets perhaps things are a tad more rustic. The Drei Zinnen ski resort in the upper Pustertal Valley is also a magnet for fans of skiing. The best insider tips on where to stop for a snack and a drink can, as always, be found at the regulars’ table!
